A split charter is a shared fishing trip. You book a seat instead of paying for the whole boat, and fish alongside other anglers on a DirtyBoat Charters offshore trip out of Robbie's Marina in Islamorada.
How much does a split charter cost?
The 6-hour split is $475 per person plus a $50 per seat fuel surcharge. The 8-hour split is $575 per person plus the same $50 fuel surcharge.
How many anglers are on a split charter?
Four at most. Our Coast Guard license allows up to six passengers, but we cap split trips at four anglers so everyone gets real reel time.
Is a split charter good for solo anglers?
Yes. Split charters are one of the best ways for solo anglers and couples to fish offshore without a full private-boat budget.
Is a fishing license included?
Yes. Fishing licenses are included, along with rods and reels, ice, bottled water, and cleaning and bagging your fish.
What if the split trip does not fill?
A split charter only sails if the minimum crew requirement is met. If the boat does not fill, you get a full refund or credit.
