Who This Applies To

This policy applies to the internal bookkeeping and accounting integration used by DirtyBoat Charters LLC and affiliated businesses that authorize access to their QuickBooks Online data through our internal tools and automation workflows.

What Data We Access

When a business connects its QuickBooks Online account, we may access accounting data needed to support bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, and cleanup work, including:

• Chart of accounts
• Bank and credit card transactions
• Customers, vendors, invoices, payments, and expenses
• Reports, balances, and reconciliation-related records
• Basic company metadata associated with the authorized QuickBooks account

How We Use Data

• To reconcile accounts and match transactions
• To identify duplicates, missing entries, stale balances, and cleanup opportunities
• To prepare internal bookkeeping recommendations and operational reports
• To support authorized business workflows requested by the account owner or operator

Data Sharing

We do not sell QuickBooks data. We do not share QuickBooks data with unrelated third parties. Data is only used internally by DirtyBoat Charters LLC and authorized operators, assistants, contractors, or systems working on behalf of the connected business.

Data Retention

We retain connected accounting data only as long as reasonably necessary to support bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliation, compliance, and recordkeeping needs, unless a longer retention period is required by law or legitimate business necessity.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect connected accounting information, including credential protection, restricted internal access, and secure storage practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the sensitivity of financial data seriously.

Revoking Access

You may revoke QuickBooks access at any time through your Intuit account controls or by contacting us. Revocation will stop future API access, though previously exported or operationally necessary records may still be retained as described above.
