East Texas Crew Goes Patch Hopping

Philip brought his sons Boone and Brooks down from East Texas for a fishing trip in Islamorada. The original plan was mahi, but the boys wanted steady action, so we called an audible and went patch hopping for yellowtail, mangrove snapper, a solid mutton, and a nurse shark release.

Father Ryan and the Boys, a Dozen Snappers for Lazy Days

Ryan brought his two sons Colin and Max out for a half day after morning thunderstorms pushed the departure. Current killed the flat line bite on the reef edge so we went patch hopping. Took home about a dozen snappers and walked them straight into Lazy Days for dinner.
